You must be a PICP™ Level 2 Coach, completed the PICP Level 3 Tasks Course, or are currently enrolled in a PICP Level 3 Tasks course to register for this event.

PICP™ Level 4 is a high-level course that will prepare students to train high performance athletes or get the results with their clients. The course is divided into six (6) tasks that are covered in a 5-day live workshop.

PICP™ Level 4 Tasks

  • Task 1: Advanced Program Design
  • Task 2: Using Implements in Program Design
  • Task 3: Long-Term Periodization
  • Task 4: Olympic Lifting Variations for Performance
  • Task 5: Plyometrics
  • Task 6: Recovery Modalities for Optimal Performance

(Tasks may not be taught in same order and may change)

At the conclusion of the PICP™ Level 4 Course, coaches and trainer will learn to:

  • Create programs using advanced training methods and systems
  • Create programs using implements
  • Create programs longer than 12-16 weeks using advanced methods and implements
  • Understand the role of Olympic Lifting in performance
  • How to effectively use Plyometrics with athletes
  • Use recovery modalities and protocols to optimize performance


PICP™ Practical Requirements

To successfully complete the PICP™ Level 4 Certification, coaches are required to meet specific practical criteria. Coaches will need to produce an athlete that followed your program based on the philosophies of PICP and achieves the one of the following:

  • Coached an athlete that participates (individually or on a team) in the Olympics, World Championship, or Professional League Championship Team
  • Coach an athlete that medals at a multi-national event (Pan Am's, Commonwealth Games, European Championships)
  • Coach a Multi-National Championship Team
  • Coach an athlete that plays in 60% of games or of the placement games for a teams that medals in a multi-national event.

You are required to submit a letter from the sport’s governing body or team that confirms you coached that athlete and the programs used to prepare the athlete.

The course hours are:

Day 1: 9:00 am- 5:00 pm
Day 2: 9:00 am- 5:00 pm
Day 3: 9:00 am- 5:00 pm
Day 4: 9:00 am- 5:00 pm
Day 5: 9:00 am- 5:00 pm
